Dar Mima Overview
Dar Mima is a vibrant Moroccan restaurant and rooftop lounge located on the 9th floor of the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris. Established in 2023, it is a tribute to Fatima, the late mother of French-Moroccan actor Jamel Debbouze. The restaurant embodies her spirit of hospitality, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere inspired by her cherished culinary traditions.

Culinary Philosophy
Dar Mima celebrates the rich flavors of Maghreb and Middle Eastern cuisines, offering dishes inspired by Fatima’s recipes. Signature offerings include Mima’s Couscous with lamb, merguez sausage, and chicken, Chicken Pastilla, Fattouche Salad, Zaalouk, and various Tajines. The beverage menu features traditional mint tea and signature cocktails infused with spices and floral notes like jasmine and orange blossom.

Atmosphere & Design
Designed by architect Laura Gonzalez, Dar Mima’s interior evokes an oriental paradise. Plush rugs, velvet seating, hand-painted gold leaf frescoes, and intricate woodwork create an ambiance that blends Eastern and Western aesthetics, making it an enchanting space for both dining and lounging.
